Dive under the sea with Bae’s Baekery as we decorate this playful SpongeBob-inspired cake! In this colorful decorating class, students will learn how to create a bright underwater themed cake inspired by the whimsical world of Bikini Bottom.
Students will be guided step-by-step through:
Smooth frosting a 6 Inch, 2 Layer Round Cake
Creating an aqua buttercream base
Piping vintage style buttercream borders
Decorating cakes with neon SpongeBob-inspired florals
Creating buttercream seaweed and whimsical jellyfish details
Styling cakes with pearl bubbles and underwater textures
Learning how to pipe the iconic SpongeBob-style lettering on top of the cake
This class is perfect for anyone who loves nostalgic cartoons, colorful cakes, and learning fun piping techniques.
You’ll leave with a fully finished, underwater-inspired cake and the skills to recreate these playful decorating techniques again and again.
This workshop is perfect for beginners who want to expand their cake-decorating skills or for anyone who loves baking. Whether you’re preparing for an event, starting a baking business, or just enjoy baking at home, you’ll leave with the skills to impress!
Each student will decorate their own cake. Due to limited space and materials, cakes cannot be shared between multiple guests.

*Doors for Cake Class open at class start time. Class begins 15 minutes after posted Class Start Time. Students exceeding the 15 minute grace period will be denied entry into class without possibility of refund or transfer.
We understand that emergencies or illness may happen, causing your absence. However, fresh ingredients are prepared days in advance for cake classes. Due to this, tickets are non-refundable – no exceptions. Tickets can be transferred to a friend if ticket holder is unable to attend. Tickets are transferrable to future dates if transfer request is submitted via email to baesbaekery@outlook.com with two weeks notice (14 days). Transfer requests within two weeks to the class date will not be granted.
